An Interview with Jason Powers
To start this off, why don't you give an idea of what the book is about?
A Servants Heart: Finding Your Spiritual Father is a touching
testimony how a person can find the place they belong in life. Finding a place of total fulfillment, by first learning to
serve. To sacrifice your time, money and energy to touch lives and to be a great blessing to others. There is no greater reward
in life then giving of yourself to help others.
Where did you grow
up and was reading and writing a part of your life?
I grew in Pennsylvania in the mountains and never did I think that I would be writing books.
What is the hardest part about being a writer?
Dealing with writers block. When you want to finish in a certain time frame and you find your mind blank.
Articles and media alike make it sound as though the only way to rise to the top is to sacrifice.
What do you find to be good sacrifices?
I have found that being a giver is the best sacrifice of all.
Giving of your time, money, energy etc to be a
blessing to someone else.
What question do
you get asked more than any other?
Whats it like to work with the Benny Hinn Ministries as a volunteer in those healing Crusades.
Whats the coolest
thing a reader has said to you?
How they couldnt stop crying when reading my book
because of the inspiring and touching message.
What has been your
feedback from readers? What do they say to you about their interpretations of your book?
See my guest book on my website www.jasonpowers.org
and book page on www.Amazon.com.
If one were looking to start his/her own career as a writer, what would you suggest his/her first
step to be?
Have a message that will touch lives for the better. Fiction
or non-fiction.
What kind of movies
do you enjoy?
Movies based on true stories as long as they are clean and
for the whole family.
What is your favorite
city to visit, but one that you wouldnt want to live in?
New York, New York. Awesome city with so much to do,
but to busy for me to live there.
Whats the best part
of being a writer?
Hearing testimonies how my book has touched somebody!
What's next?
I will
have my next book out sometime in the late winter.
A huge
thanks to Mr. Powers for participating in this interview, we wish you much success!
